Tim works primarily in the areas of wills and estates, succession planning, family law and personal injury law. He has previously worked in both private legal practice as well as “in house” as a solicitor and state manager for a major national trustee company. He has a particular interest in estate planning and works closely with financial advisers and accountants to achieve desired planning outcomes for his clients and is well regarded within those professions. He also acts for litigants in disputed estates when such disputes cannot be resolved by negotiated settlement.

Tim also acts in a number of jurisdictions in personal injury matters and has handled smaller claims matters through to catastrophic injury claims. He has been a member of the Law Society of South Australia since 2003 and is also a member of the Tax Institute of Australia and sits on various voluntary committees.

Prior to completing his legal qualifications he served as a permanent member of the Royal Australian Air Force. He is married with a young family. Tim Donlan is a member of Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and is a Branch Committee member of Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners, (South Australia).
